Does JB Weld's "KwikPlastik" stick conduct electricity?
(I asked a similar question about mighty putty earlier, but I ended up going with a different product, so...)
Does "KwikPlastik" epoxy putty conduct electricity? Can you use it to patch things that involve wires? I have an antique coffee urn that I really like, but there's a piece missing that comes in contact with some of the wires (the original part was made of Bakelite) and I need to rebuild it. It's an extremely simple fix, but I just want to be safe.

The Bakelite material is broken off in some places, and the copper terminals are exposed. The piece is special to me and I'd really like to fix it. So do you think it would be safe to rebuild with the epoxy? It says on the package it rebuilds almost any plastic (even though Bakelite sort of is and isn't plastic, you know what I mean)

Epoxy is generally a good resistor.
This should work well, though I can't 100% guarantee the epoxy will stick to the Bakelite. Gluing plastics is always a tricky proposition.
In order to improve the bond, it helps to lightly sand the surface to be bonded, then clean with alcohol to remove any grease or oil.
