So are Alaskan Malamutes supposed to be clowns or the comedians in the room?

As I was typing my last question (obviously people on here think that I don't have the breed I want, when I clearly have an Alaskan Malamute and a White Shepherd dog) I stood up to stretch, well as I was stretching my pants were a bit loose (no belt) and Timber (my pet Malamute) pulled them down and left me exposed in underwear as my wife looked at me and laughed real hard.

The dog in general is a clown, it plays pranks on a lot of the guests, it would scare people by hiding behind them and then it makes noises in the morning sometimes to wake people in my house up.

Two days ago he took a basket I have in my house full of Bananas and hid it elsewhere, I tried looking for it elsewhere, I came out and I saw him carrying it with his mouth and putting it in the same spot I tried looking for it.

Anyone have a similar experience?

I've only known one malamute and she was really old and suffering from liver disease, had been abandoned by the side of the road (we assume because she was dying slowly and the former owners didn't want to spend any more money on her but didn't want to watch her slowly die either--but, jez, abandoning your dog??? Just too heartless for me). By the time she got adopted by us, she only had about 6 months more to live and she was not a happy dog, she never lifted her tail ever, never made ANY vocal sounds until the very end (which is how we knew she was in drastic pain and it was time to put her down). Beautiful dog and I quite loved her. Your dog sounds like he's real smart and maybe a little bored (which is why he invents things to keep himself amused). These dogs are bred to work and if they don't have work to do, they do get a little bored--some will get destructive and, it seems, others will get creative. Take good care of your pack.
