Mean senior citizen?
So I will cliff notes version this... maybe someone has some insight. I was at a buffet with my bf and at this buffet (Hometown buffet) they have a meat carving station with various meats: ham, steak etc. Anyhow a man about 70 was in front of me and asked for a piece of steak and ham. The man JUST DOING HIS JOB mind you, went to cut the steak (it was a new steak they just brought out) started yelling at the guy saying "I Don't want that piece!! LOOK AT all that FAT! what are you doing????" The general rule for cutting meat anywhere even at home is to cut the end piece first. No one in their right mind cuts in the middle. He was talking down to this poor guy, and the carver stated "Sir, you can just have said that" I told the old man "look sir, you do not need to talk to him that way, he is just doing his job the way he was trained" Anyhow, my question is, do many see situations dealing with senior citizens who are just mean? This man unnceccesarily was rude and it pissed me off.
Working with the public can be difficult at times. It's too bad that man felt the need to speak to him like that. But, to answer your question, I don't see any more situations involving rude senior citizens than I do with any other age group. Rudeness doesn't discriminate by age.
